deaths by marijuana...
ok so as we all know there has never been a recorded death by cannabis and I'm all for smoking weed and legalising it but surely smokin cannabis must contribute towards cancer or some sort of lung infection/disease??? I thought about this for years and have never really come to a conclusion. Since we smoke weed without a filter all tha shit and resin which sometimes collects around the roach depending on what weed your smokin ( i mean that as in solid or skunk as solid tends to collect alot of resin) well all that crap is collecting in your lungs fucking up those little hairs in your throat too as does smoking (i think their called tricheas) anyway i think that the resin which has collected in your lungs is just as bad as the tar which would have collected from smoking cigarettes ......

Nope, I don't think so.
That resin doesn't stay in your lungs. Your body has a natural tendency to fight that off, but we do get a little bit of tar in it. The tar we do recieve though, isn't near as damaging as tobacco tar.
When I smoked cigs for 5yrs, I would be coughing up all kinds of goodies. I quit about 2yrs ago now and just smoke herb...no more goodies.
Smoking MJ does do some damage to your lungs, but not so much where it is life threatening in the long, or short run.

Your lungs like to be high, that's why they don't reject the marijuana.

Yes, marijuana is carcinogenic, but not as much as cigarettes. It contributes slightly toward some cancers, but nowadays, it seems like everything contributes somewhat toward cancer. It is an inevitable truth we all will have to face at some point. When the statistic says there are no recorded deaths from marijuana, it is referring to the fact that no one has ODed and died because of marijuana AS A RESULT OF AN OVERDOSE. That's because you'd have to smoke a few pounds in one day to OD, and after an ounce or two, you'd pass out first.
Hope this helps,
Greg
