ok my question is (may sound a bit stupid but you'll get it once i execute this experiment) if you grew a plant could you get the whole main stem to root if you filled in more soil?

I think I see your idea...

You want to add some new roots... so to say... for free?

I guess it'll work, but plants grow mega-roots on their own. I've seen impressive root balls in 5gallon DWC setups...

But give it a go... let's see how it goes...
