i don't get why weed is iligal and alcohol is'nt! whats worse, a peacefull stoner? or an angry alcoholic? my neighbor just came round, shes al alcoholic, she had a GUN in her hand, NO SHOES and NO SOCKS (she was wlkin bare foot and the ground was wet) and she was rambling on about random shit, like "ur *dads name* ar'nt ya?" "erm, yea" "dont worry about this gun, its just a toy gun", then she goes on about her alcoholic b/f "today i sed something to piss ***** off. i sed "lbah blah blah blah" *laughs like crazy*... erm ok, im gonna have to go...

She was creepy me the fuck out, fuckin barfooted with a gun in her hand. All she sed was dribble, made NO sense. ffs.

see, im stoned and im not gonna go knockin on ppl's doors in bare foot with a gun tlkin jibberish with them!

the law system is stupid.

I think they should at least make it legal for people 18 or older. Alcoholics are way more dangerous than people who smoke weed...

Exacly, if they wanted less crime, less murder, less phyco's ect. then they shud of make weed legal and acohol iligal. becase they wud be ALOT less crime if they were no alcoholics in the world.

probation doesn't work, all it does is encourage organized crime aposed to petty muggings and robberies. though pot should be legal and alcohol shouldn't they both need to be legal to take power away from gangs. thats just the way it goes...

1. Guys, c'mon-- is it really hard to understand why it's illegal? Money. That's the only reason. When they can start making money off of it, it'll become legal.

2. And please rework that argument that if pot is illegal, alcohol should be too, because that's just stupid. Any kind of prohibition is unfair.

they tried making alcohol illegal and it didnt work too well. people just made their own(moonshine) and distributing it, alot of ppl complained, alot of arrests were made, and so forth. although it doesnt sound much different from ppl growing bud and selling it, us complaining, and ppl being arrested.

they make more money off it being illegal, if you ever read through any articles on law, you will see that no sane man must honestly think that the current laws are justifiable, or any period of time for that matter. Did no1 find it odd that when the americans went in to vietnam, an ideal climate for growing opium, all of a sudden the mafia was racketeering heroin all over America, where do the drugs go after they are confiscated? Trust me if they believed they could make more money from it being legal, they would be dishing propoganda about the benefits of drugs left right and centre and would soon brainwash an entire generation in to believing that that is the 'right' way within a few decades, but the fuckers kno, the forbidden fruit must be tasted, the anti drug propoganda is more appealing than the pro drug, they list millions of side effects using very generalised words, and provokes the thought of 'why are they so bad?' and 'how bad could they really be?', theres a drug dealer on every street corner, and even tho they make a few big busts, they usually leave them be, and the busts are publicised like a bastard cuz they really wanna get that message across that they hate drugs and are against them, have you ever really questioned smuggling? shovelling kilo upon kilo over heavily guarded international borders and flightzones doesn't sound like a task that is easily concealed, if the motherfuckers really wanted to find the stuff, they would, and when they do they confiscate them (to where?), slap a big ass fine (but not too big) on the dealer and take all his money away to the tax bin, plus all casualties of the drugs (the crackheads, smackheeds, that claim that it is the drug that is fuckin them up) are no1's responsibility, cuz they told you not too, despite how many ever millions they are shelling out in the NHS to pay for the od's etc, they must be making far far more from the beneficial side of prohibition, the fines, the confiscation, for it to stay illegal, law isn't about moral justice, it is a guideline for a business, and if you can save money by tweaking them a lil bit, then you can sure as shit bet that it will be tweaked. Plus by doing this you don't have to control the purity of the substances, which equals more money.
