you can get it at home depot, lowes, ace or any garden shop. it's really cheap, like $8 for a huge bag that would last a lifetime. it's for spreading on the lawn really. just make sure it's dolimite or dolimitic lime and not hydrated lime. hydrated lime is alot stronger and easy to overdose.

agricultural limestone work well also? im using that right now in my mix which is mostly peat moss and perlite. the specifications on the bag pretty much explain what it does and it sounds very similar to that dolimite lime - it controls excess acidity, adds calcium and magnesium, helps fertilizer work better, etc.....hasnt killed them yet and its been six weeks so i guess it works just as well. its called Hi Yield Agricultural Limestone

about 6-8 weeks. i vegged while one crop was flowering so they would be ready for the screen when the 1st crop finished. i could have gotten away with vegging a little less but i liked to top them alot and that kinda slows the growth. but you get alot more growth tips. i counted almost 200 tops on my last grow, a 2'x4' screen.

My clones are in FFOF And Im not sure if its any better... It actually could be worse but I just dont know cuz I dont have any other soil...
But as my clones age some bottom leaves yellow slowly untill they die. But Im told this is normal.
The reason I say it could be worse is only because of all the nutrients the soil has. Im not quite sure if thats a good thing when your babies are so young.
