There's no set time frame for tolerance setting in, it's different for everybody. for the first year I got stoned out of my mind into utter incorherence. then the next half year I learned to handle it and and got normally high. now about 2 months after that year and a half, I can barely get high anymore regardless of how much I smoke. but my little brother, who started smoking 2 months ago, already has a tolerance as high as mine.

if you take a week off, there'll be a mild difference in your tolerance. basically the first high will be great again, the second a little less, the third you're right back where you started.

if you take a month off, you've probably got a week to a week and a half of better highs, though your tolerance will still be up, just not as much.

if you really want to get back to day 1, I'm not sure, but what I usually hear is 6 months off with most people.
mrdevious Reviewed by mrdevious on . Tolerance Questions Hey all I'm just your normal pot-smoking teenager. I just had a few questions. Lately, the past two months I've been smoking daily. It was usually just once a day although some days I would smoke all day or something haha It all depends. When does tolerance start to kick in? I mean obviously it has, but within the last week and especially the last weekend, it has gotten real weak. I've been smoking the same weed pretty much, but it just seems like I get a nice buzz then it all goes away before Rating: 5
