I hear the older you are when you get chicken pox, the worse it is. So I'm sorry you have to go through all that . Just remember that scratching will only drag it out longer, in the meantime use some soothing lotions and cold packs on any particularily itchy areas (it'll totally numb it). I know everybody seems to use calamine lotion, but I've used it and it's almost as useless as mud, just a minute of relief really, then it's right back to itching (well, maybe you could bath in it ).

anywhoo, I don't know if this applies to pox, but I suppose it would because it's all still the immune system fighting a virus. when I was last sick I bought some of that Cold-FX stuff, took it exactly as directed, and I got well REALLY fast. I was shocked, that stuff actually cures a cold!
