I have my tongue and eyebrow done and lemme tell you the key to helping your tongue heal quickly.

KEEP YOUR FINGERS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!

Dont try to change it till you've had it AT LEAST ten days.

Also, when you change it stick with the stainless barbell. Dont use one with the plastic balls. Just use the shorter one from what they gave you. I believe when i had mine done they put an inch barbell in. That is so your tongue can swell.

The inch long one always hit the roof of my mouth. Use a 3/4 or 5/8 if you can find it once your tongue stops its swelling.

NEVER DRINK BEER!!!! The yeast or barley or something in it causes infection. Its also a good idea to use that salt water mouthwash for a month or so.
