Not sure if you are a guy or a girl but when I decided I was going to fix my face I wanted to find products that were made with men in mind and this is what I came up with.

Every day: Neutrogena Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser from their Rapid Clear line. I use this every day in the shower and maybe at night if I'm going out or before bed if my face looks greasy--Basically whenever you want to wash your face. It does a good job at not over-drying you.

Twice a week: Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub (w/microbeads). On non-consecutive days before the oil-control cleanser. It just removes crap from deep in your pores, eliminating blackheads and the problems they can cause. Also removes dead skin. Be gentle, no need to "scrub". Use before shaving for a closer, better shave.

As needed: Gillette Complete Skincare Moisturizer. After the oil-control cleanser. Probably twice a week I use this, usually just before bed, to help my skin retain it's moisture. I don't see a need to use it every day. You can "feel" when your skin is dry.

Problem areas: Clearasil Ultra (Benzoyl Peroxide) twice a day, after oil-control cleanser. This stuff works like magic. I can always tell a difference after the first day.

If you do one thing, eliminate soap and buy the cleanser I mentioned. It's great for a guys face IMHO.

dare i say metro? hehe j/k dude but thats pretty intense
