    Where to buy cfls?

I tried finding them on home depots webpage but I couldn't. Where is a good place to buy powerful cfls, 100watts and up? Do I need something else to wire this to a ext cord?

Home DePot has em for sure. I'd say, if you have the time, stop in at a store near you and pick up some big 150w=42w cfls. I have 4 of them on 2 plants right now and the plants are doing great. You will need to buy replacement cords and sockets, too. The bulbs are about $10 a piece, ceramic sockets are no more than $3 as well as the cords. Get some electrical tape too, to seal up any exposed wires..

yes i saw those packs... kind of a waste of time tho IMHO becuase those so called 100w are only about 23w where as the so called 150w are 42w...

the pack of 6 IS cheaper, but if you dont have much space, id go with the 150w

remember for every 2 100w yyou put in there, you could save half the space with 1 150... just my reasoning, thats all

you can find it at any hardware store.... I think if you go higher than 42w you will need a specific socket to power the bulb, whereas if you use anything under 42watts you can stick that bulb anywhere just read the light fixture 1st... always be safe when dealing with electricity:thumbsup:
