Ok i know there have been many threads about this but i really have a delemor. im typing this stoned so excuse the spelling.

i decide smoking in my room is too risky(dumb) so i take a pipe and started smoking in the kitchen with the esaughst on. my lighter runs outta gas so i go into my dads room for a lighter i go back baked and dont relise iVE dropped my pipe and i make a bong smoke till i was wasted. the next day i ralise i left it on his dressing table and he saw it and had a talk with me. his pretty imformed and didnt bs me. said stop smoking until you 16-17

i want to stop smoking cos i started a bit too young. but its so much fun i love it being wasted with a friend is the best. i dunno what to do i want to smoke but i dont want to upset my dad or mess with my head(at my age i would think i would matter)

what do you think i should do:
1. stop until 16-17
2. smoke ocasionally once every 2 months
3. keep smoking

make sure you dont get low grades, or your dad will blame it on u smoking too much dope, i say keep smokin, but not too much, mabey once every few days or on the weekends as a social thing, but dont get stoned at school...thats just stupit. trust me i did it all last year, and found out my teachers new it all along.
dont smoke it in the house either, i know its alot easyer but just lay low, the less your pars know about u smokin it the better. if you need to hav a j, just walk down the street, or go somewhere else and smoke it.

..., jus do what ever you thinks right for you...
and ask yourself, can you afford to smoke everyday???
mabey cuttin back would be a good idea.

its not the fact of my parents finding out but its more a trust thing. its hard to explain. another thing is that im worried about my health but until i smoked i only did reversable damage to my body such as eating crap so on. but there is so little research about the effects that is un biased its hard to decide. even sites like this have biased infomation to a point. i suppose i could wait alittle while. and i dont want to walk dont a street smoking a j, the grannies move gos too quick where i live. but i want to smoke with some of my friends but at this point its only with one and if i drag him into this ill probably shoot myself(metaphor).i want to enjoy myself with out disapointing my dad, getting my friends in trouble but the only way to do that is really wait until im older...#sigh

It sounds like you and your Dad get on well and theres alot of of trust, I wouldn't want to spoil that. I say listen to him, he's been really cool about it but he's told you just to wait until your a bit older, sounds pretty fair to me.

Wait 'til you're 16 and start again, then toke with your dad at 17, he seems cool with it lol

It's cool that your dad was upfront like that. I don't think a lot of people have that luxury.

I'd say, listen to his advise. But if you choose not to, then make sure you do so in a manner in which he'll never know.

The last thing I think you'd want to do is blow him off (at least, overtly). He's being really cool now, but if you spurn his advise I'd imagine he'd be less likely to be friendly in the future.
