neo-physchadelic shamanism
trials and tribulations of a psychadelic shaman
gripping pains
near death experience(s)
mind melting
eyeballs dripping from the sockets
the fluids and membranes
that keep us alive
places of power
unalterable conciousness
yet
altering conciousness
fighting the light
fighting the dark
in search of the truths
and the paths that will
show us the way
unbending knowledge
unknowing knowledge
that brings you to the brink
of sanity and subconcious living
all is real
in REAL UNREALITY
just let me in the door
and show me the way
i will try and not
to stumble and fall
on the stairwell
to eternal bliss
but beware of the physical body
it can trip you up or knock you down
but its a wonderful journey
into
metaphysics.
spiritual
concious
and flowing
like the fountain of youth
to all who seeks the way.

neo-physchadelic shamanism
sounds like your regular old acid trip
and i kind of always thought a shaman was a medicine man... a healer... do shamen also use psychadelics normally for themselves? seems like a mix between a doctor and a philosopher is this correct?

neo-physchadelic shamanism
SHAMAN-(Siberian Tungus language) a spiritual leader, a medicine man/woman or witch doctor. While a medicine man will tend to the sick, working with herbs, barks and the like, the shaman works more on the psychological level. He will go down on "a journey" for the benefit of the one who is ill; he will direct sacrifices, he will seek out new knowledge, and he will accompany the spirits of the dead on their journey to the afterlife. ...
IN my case, i am the one who is ill and i do my trance and journeys
to benefit myself pschologically.
A shaman has a different role depending on the society.
i tend to lean toward the toltec shamanism (Carlos Castenada-The Teachings of Don Juan) to experience dimensions unknown to the scientific world and
gain futher insight into the spirit world and learn new truths.
yes there are shamans who use/experience hallucinagenics as their ally
in their practices.
