Haha, thread is FOUR YEARS old... haven't seen the posters around in a while...

Your best bet is to veg under flouros to save the $$$, and buy a HPS to flower, although you can get buds under flouros ('daylight' are excellent bulbs)- just not as much weight or density.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . fluorescent lights?? Hi guys.... A friend of mine wants to grow some using floros. I couldnt talk him into using better lights...(costs too much ). Somebody out there has likely used fluorescents to grow, but i have always heard that you cant get enough light lumens out of them,and that getting very good flowering is almost impossible. Has anyone done this? What kind of results? :confused: Rating: 5
