Bounced light, green light
So, I've got two great looking plants going in an ebb/flow system, on day 5 of 12/12. They are behind a wooden sliding closet door which is pretty light-tight except for the runners that guide the door at the top and a small crack which is covered by a strip of black plastic.
I know I cannot interrupt the night time cycle, but sometimes I need to get in that closet. Is it true that green-light is in effect, unseen by the plants? I also have a small fluoro desk lamp that sits around the corner of the closet, with light bouncing several times before it hits the crack in the covered closet opening.
Am I basically avoiding direct light here? I'd hate to screw up these two plants which are looking fantastic  . Thanks for any help.trianker Reviewed by trianker on . I know the guys that run co2 use green lights to see in the dark but never heard what kind and i asked too. It only takes a few candle power of light to mess up your light cycle. so be carefull.

Just make sure that the green bulb is not a cheap painted regular bulb. Try to get that runner as light proof as possible... maybe hang some dark fabric inside the closet from the ceiling to block some of that light.
