If guns were to be prohibited, murder rates would drop. crime rates would drop. claiming the opposite would be nonsense. if you take away the ball from the player, there's no game.
If guns were to be prohibited, the guy that would rob you probably wouldn't carry a gun, eradication of arms takes a long time, but is possible. this decreases the odds of murder by a long shot.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. If guns are prohibited do you think that murderers, rapists and robbers are going to hand them over? Give me a fuckin break. In fact crime would increase, I suggest you look at statistics about gun control and crime rates. If I were a criminal and I had to look for a place to live I would pick somewhere that didn't allow its citizens to protect themselves.

Handguns were banned in 1997 after the Dunblane massacre, when Thomas Hamilton opened fire at a primary school leaving 16 children and their teacher dead. I have not seen one since (apart from in the US), Just wondering if anyone still owned one. The ban is so strict, the UK Olypmic Pistol team must practice in another country.
