who cares, are you a parent? have you had kids? how fuckin often do they even listen to what you teach them? you must of been raised by some other species if you think human kids grow up thinking "my parents said it's bad so i must never ever do it" actually applies to anyone.. as for gun safe, yea its' easy, it's also easy to figure out safe combinations, or get ahold of the keys... and picking a lock is almost as easy as ordering a pizza... i've been able to pick locks since i was 10... as for the response to 12 years old and you shoot yourself how fucking dumb can you be... accidnets happen.. you don't have to even be careless to shoot yourself... shit happens, and it happens everyday, there are thousands of ways to be killed by a gun, other than putting it to your head and pulling the trigger you know... so i must as k you the same thing... how fuckin dumb can you be... you're also forgetting the main statment of my post.

The extensive gun courses are a great idea, but they wouldn't really help very much with the black market sales of guns or keep them from falling into the hands of children as effectively as just banning them altogether. I can see how the technology evolved, I gotcha. Where are the crumple zones in a tank, by the way? Just in case I need to take one out

that is a good point... the crumple zones were not in essence those, but softer parts of metal in the frame, not the armor of the tank, so that in case of a jarring, the soldiers would not get fucked up.

some of you gun toting idiots really need to stop and think what you're saying rather than being up and huffy-puffy denfending your precious guns...
i'm taking hit from some of you bastards for simply pointing out facts ON BOTH FUCKING SIDES... i don't stand on either side... go back through and read some of the shit you are saying... replace <insertrandomperson> with your loved ones.. instead of "i don't care what some stupid ass does with a gun, if he kills himself, it's his fault and guns shouldn't be taking heat because of a person" .... "i don't care what my son does with a gun, if he kills himself it's his fault and guns shoudln't be taking heat because of him" ... also, it's human nature to fuck up and be forgetful... even computers aren't 100% becasue they are programed by humans... so you can say you're taking precautions all you want... just because you teach your child/loved ones all about guns, and when to use them, and how to use them safely... doesn't mean they won't fuckin end up seriously hurting themselves if not killing themselves.... also, just because you think you're safely locking up your gun out of reach of others doesn't mean you're right. people are forgetful, no one remembers everything for the durration of their life, you can leave the combination where a child could find it, you could leave the key within reach, you could even forget to fuckin shut the goddamn door on the lock completly... like i said, go back and read the shit some ofyou have said, and put it to yourself... read your own words only instead of saying some random person you obviously don't care about, put your family members/loved ones in there... maybe then some of you will open your eyes, while others, i'm sure will remain blind... because ignorance is blind...

^^
Please don't encourage him... we're aiming for a reduction of violence, not merely a brutalization of it.

Well kids.....i had to go smoke it up last night....sorry i couldnt continue but we just got some fire ass weed from the NO... ha...
So has everyone agreed that guns arent the cause of all our violent problems?
Does anyone want to argue that destroying or "banning" all guns would just lead to one man's bloody and relentless campiagn of unstoppable violence?
Take EVERYONE'S guns and some big fat and powerful rich fucker WILL make more.
Also, guns are part of an olympic sport. And although I cant be 100 percent positive, I can almost certainly say that none of the olympic team has shot anyone. Its just a sport. Target practice.
Also, I think we should outlaw all teachings of the Martial Arts. Will ANYONE argue that the martial arts is anything more than a way of hurting and even killing someone with only your body? Dont get me wrong...I LOVE fights. I even like to fight every once in a while, I watch all UFC fights, but im saying this for the sake of argument.
If one has never been beaten up and one learns martial arts, isnt that equivelent to one going out and buying a gun when that person may have never been assaulted?
The whole point im trying to make is that guns, nor weapons of any kind are the main problem. The human nature is the problem. If someone wants to harm us or does harm us, then we want to harm them back, and many times we want to harm them worse so they "learn their lesson".
If you take all guns away, I do agree, deaths from guns would decline, I wont say cease because of how easy it is to make a homemade gun, BUT it would only be a matter of time before more were made. And if you dont realize this you havent taken a look at the real world lately.
Leaders of countries would only look for ways to kill or hurt people on a larger scale and because you cant also outlaw chemicals and other volitile substances, they would turn to bombs, mortars (simple ones being nothing more than a big bottle rocket) and other types of mass killing devices.
Thats my 2 cents and I think a lot of you %100 gun haters need to read this and think about it before saying guns need to be banned.
You have to look at the consequences of what would happen if they were to be. The world only gets more violent. If people have their guns taken, they are going to look for other ways with which to defend and kill with.
Taking the guns away wont solve much. The real problem is education or lack thereof. Education and helping people are the only ways of actually reducing crime rates. Look at the UK. Violent crime has GONE UP since their gun ban, if you dont believe me go look it up.
All im saying is dont continually cry "No guns! No guns!", instead, cry for education and order to be brought to people, along with a sense of responsibility. Thats what is needed more than anything.\\/
