Honesty and Modesty
I don't think cannabis, or any other drug, can really make you into a better person. It gives you the oportunity to examine your life and perceptions from an altered point of view. It can also provide a habitual escape from problems that worsen over time because you continue to ignore them. The choice is up to you, not the drug.
There are two things that I've learned in regards to MJ, and they've helped me a great deal in maintaining a healthy balance.
1) There CAN BE too much of a good thing, even weed.
2) If you've convinced yourself that "everything is better when I'm high" and use that to stay high all the time, there is a problem bigger than weed that needs to be addressed.
And on your conviction... you can have your record expunged. Find out how to do it in your county/state. A family-member-in-law of mine had a grand theft charge expunged from his record at 35, convicted at 33. It can be done with enough time for you to have a clean record for med school.lizzie on low Reviewed by lizzie on low on .
