    Indoor Growing light

I failed my first attempt to grow with a spot gro light from a hardware store, after i read that those lights dont work. My plants grew weak and fell over before they just died completely. I was wondering where i could get a some what inexpensive light to grow indoor.

    Indoor Growing light

I use 3 150 watt Compact Fluorescents which cost me about 20.00$ each, they seem to be doing great for my plants, they are all strong and healthy, but i will lose in my yield at the harvest when i only get a 1/3 to 1/2 of a harvest comparing to using HPS lights...

Hope i helped out... Best of luck...

I got mine on ebay ($110 for a nice 400 watt system) and I'm so happy with it. I believe you could go with fluroescent for cheaper (i would only use fluorescent if you need to keep it really small.) Want to drop more dough? Start on fluors and switch to MH for veg growth, then to HPS for budding.

People seemed worried about buying stuff on ebay, or you might need the light right away. Check out a local gardening store. Make sure you know what type of light you want and how many watts (depends on # plants/grow room).

I'm growing 2 plants in my closet with 400watt Metal Halide the whole way through.

    Good luck,

    joe.

I got two 250 watt HPS lights on ebay for $40. Got two fresh 250 watt Lucalox bulbs for $14. I can easily pull off 4oz per month with that.
