Why Cant I Get High?

If you've been a member of this site since febuary 2005, why did'nt you ask this question before? if you knew you wer'nt getting high why have you been smoking weed without asking anyone this whole time? and erm, i dunno. You might have a natural tolerance to it or mybe its just not very good weed.

I've read that some medications, even those that seem innocent, can cause problems when you try to get high. I know my allegra caused me to get very jumpy and parinoid, and it just ruined the high for me.

I think the biggest trick to getting the most out of your high is being in a relaxing and safe place before you smoke, both physically and mentally. Obviously, there are exceptions to that... smoking to help with pain, or to unwind after a shitty day, but you get the gist, ya?

Relax, and let things unfold on their own. Smoke, don't smoke, high, not high, don't even worry about it.

I dont think I have ever been High in my whole life. I think every time I smoke I convince myself that im high but I truely am not. But most the time when i take more then 3 hits I feel sick, Very tired, Dizzy, But never an enjoyable High. I pretty much panic feel like im going to throw up then I take a nap for a hour then feel better when i get up. Now I truely want to get high it seems like everyone that smokes is Getting this awesome feeling that for some reason I cant get, But I really really really want to get. Does anyone know why when i smoke I eaither dont feel high or i get sick to my stomach and dizzy and panicy?
Does anyone have any sugestions?

yeah i agree wiv esrabalamir it makes u go to sleep lol your high while your sleeping man i dont think you like the comeing up sorta feeling and it makes u sea sick sorta it happens allot wiv new smokers as u must know its a whitey lol smoke->sick-->sleep yeah just try to stay awake and drink sum milk to kill the sickness. hope this help u mate:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

ya, and also your problem may be ur like really paraniod and am just bombing ur shit like crazy. you really should take your time and just relax. try these things, and if you still dont get high, try coke, or go to a doctor. lol:dance: :dance:

Thx for helping everyone keep them coming if u have any more ideas. Yeah I think im going to smoke slow take 3 good hits then every 10 minuits take another hit like beachguy told me I dont know man I think i was convincing myself i was high even though i wasent and when i did smoke alot i think i smoked to much and i would get dizzy and sick and everything would feel like it was in slow motion and i looked it up and it said i was having a panic attack

i used to have this problem.. VERY FRUSTRATING!! and the more frustrating it gets, it seems like getting high is an impossibility. just don't worry about it and try not to think about getting high while u smoke.
i remember when i started it was like the first couple of months i never got high and my friends would be ripped! i was just like what the hell? and of course it didnt help that i kept going 'am i high? am i high?' u kno?
try this: have a couple beers so u have a good buzz goin and be at a social event or something and blaze cuz that way ur not really even thinking about getting high ur jsut tlaking to the people and feeling the alcohol buzz then it is possible that the weed will sneak up on u.

good luck man i kno it can be very frustrating but it will come!
