Because of the words you use and the way you speak about people. When you talk about "man love" and "homos" you let everyone know right where you're coming from. So, because people are offended by the words you use doesn't mean they disagree with you. They're just unwilling to treat their fellow human beings like complete and utter garbage to get their point across.

I want to ask those who have expressed they are practicing christians. What is your opinion on this phenomenon of eve-angelican christians building mall sized churches with big screen tvs etc while preaching intolerance. Where do they fall into your view of christianity ? Are they true to your faith? Or simply misguided?

Great question. I'd love to see a whole thread about that in the Spirituality forum. The UMC my mom goes to shows video clips during their sermons. But only from really godly movies... like A Beautiful Mind. Seen it with my own eyes. :::shudder:::
