I wouldn't jump to apply the "overpopultated rats" theory to human beings. Look at India, and China, etc. They have a large population, and their rates of homosexuality are probably about the same as less crowded places. I'm not justifying the population explosion - I just wonder if it has anything to do with people's sexual orientation.

Gay people have traditionally gone to San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, etc. - and many of the gay residents of these cities are not from there originally.
