i say brainwashed... because alot of people seem to listen to the tv religiously.. i mean... i can say something.. and i've actually had someone (more than once) say "that's not what so-and-so commercial said!" i actually wanted to slap them, then tell them almost all commercials these days aren't worried about 100% factual statements, they're more concerned with wanna-be comedy, catchy songs, and convincing you their arch rival company is bad for whatever reason, whether it be the prices inolved or it be the service offered... when i say brainwashed, i don't mean like a zombie that does everything the tv tells them to... i mena more along the lines that media teaches what is pretty, and what is ugly.. who needs to lose weight, what kind of foods you need to eat to be healthy, what normal is (as in, all the prescribed medication ads that tell you, you need this medication, because the problem it fixes which you just happen to have isn't normal, to some point they're right sometimes... but god, some are ridiculous) and the list goes on and on... seems to me now, more people make up their mind based on what the tv said, as opposed to actualy doing their own research, or how they feel on the subject that's what i mean when i say brainwashed...
