Detox to lower tolerance?

Well, if I am not mistaken, tolerance builds up as more and more THC builds up in fat cells... but I was thinking that if Detox can get rid of the THC in your body, can it coincidentally lower your tolerance?

Is this theory right? (where tolerance comes from) or is tolerance more psychological than physical in the case of marijuana? We have some Detox Tea and I'm not a big fan of Tea but I was thinking about drinking some for this purpose... but honestly I don't want to drink it if it won't work.. cause as I mentioned before, not a big tea guy. I guess it's just not my cup.. of... tea :smokin:

just try the cup of tea, wait a few hours, then smoke a bowl, see how high u get.

Drug tolerance occurs when a subject's reaction to a drug (such as a painkiller or intoxicant) decreases so that larger doses are required to achieve the same effect.

In other words, drug tolerance is when your body doesn't react as much when the drug is used.

yes... but that is the effect, there must be a cause... which i'm assuming is the amount of the drug built up in your system?

I'm fairly sure detox just clears your urinary tract.

No, your brain just controls the drug better (psychologically).

ah i see, that was not what i wanted to hear but i'm glad i heard it anyways, that tea looked and smelled disgusting

You could try laying off cannabis for a few days or just reduce how much you smoke/eat and that will reduce your tolerance. Then when your tolerance is reduced so you get stoned really fast, smoke a couple of bowls and you'll get stoned so fast you will probably have mild hallucinations .
