I am not sure if anyone here is aware of this but recently a town in Iowa (i forgot the name) wants to make it a hate crime to say God bless you when somebody sneezes. They say it is offensive to those who are not christian or do not believe in God. Personally i am very confused over this political correctedness issue everywhere. I believe no religion should be favored more than another and that no religion should be forced upon any body. But what gets me is when these people try to make it illegal to speak of God. I mean i totally respect someone elses opinion if they do not believe in God, but i mean come on. I believe it is like 80 or 85% of the USA calls themselves christians. That means they say they belive in God and that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe the next biggest religion is Judaism which also believes in the same god as christianity. I read only about 5 or 10% of this country calls themselves atheist. From my understanding that means that they do not believe in any god nor do they follow any religion. Now i ask, why should i have to stop saying God in the pledge of allegiance, remove it from my money, and refrain from telling others that i wish for my God's blessing upon them when they sneeze? Whatever happened to majority rules?? :what:
