What am i doing wrong?

Alright everyone, im a little dissapointed.

My lady just finished drying after five days of hanging in a closet. The stems dont break, but they crack a bit, and she seems done. What i dont understand is; When i chopped her she looked like she had some nice, tight, sticky, stinky buds. But now that she is dry, she doesnt really smell like anything, and is extremely crunchy on the outside. Although it is still covered in crystals, it looks like shwagg..... Im not sure what i did wrong, but i was lookin 4ward to that tight, stinky bud you can get in the cafe. When i picked it i used some small scissors to trim off the big fan leaves, then used larger scissors to get all the smaller leaves pokin out of the bud. Im throwin it in some jars to cure, and hopefully she will get better in time. But for the future, ide really like to know what i did wrong and why its so fluffy.

Hey stoney,

I suspect they'll look/smell much better after a cure, so dont get down about it. Have you grown the strain before?

Yeah once outdoors. It turned out the same. Im thinkin its just the strain. Time to switch.
