    is it normal to have purple leaves

    well i planted a bunch of seeds and its about a week later no and they have bright purple leaves with little snowflakey crystals on them.....am i doin sumtin wrong....are they bad or sumtin....please reply back

    the stems on one of my plants are going purple and afew of the leafs are starting to go that way to, i dont think its anything to worry about apart from the purplenis they are looking healthy

    nah dont even worry about purpleness thats due to cold weather i got plants outside that are sprouts and lately down here its been below 20 degrees and the whole thing is turning purple... let it warm up and they will turn green

    hey...well there just sprouts but the leaves are lime green in the center with bright purple on the outside of the pedals, and there are little tiny white crystals on the leaves.....cnt get a pick till march cuz my camera is in the shop...hit me back

    It's the cold weather and the starin you're using. The little chrystals are probably just the little hairs that are naturally there. And if its outdoor, It is NOT flowering. just let nature take its course and they will be fine. If it gets below 20 you definatley need to bring it in. Temperatures below 55 stunt growth and below freezing is insane. If you can bring them in at night or just leave them in a window seal. Those Snow-flakly chrystals could be frost and that will kill your plant.
