Well then probation does work. It's not "fun" but it's not supposed to be either. Felonies are serious, why didn't you think of that at the time? You said you had "a few oz's" right? Maybethe cop would have just dumped the pot if had been less but again, that was your choice too and you'll have to live with the consequences of your choices. That's life, sorry. Since you were 17 maybe things can be sealed at a point in time.

I never said you did poorly in school, I asked if you would have done better? On the UP side, felony or not, there are still schools that will accept you but not all. You never answered if all the drugs/booze/etc were worth it?

I'm glad you see it as a chance and I hope you go to college, even if it's not Yale but you say you're not going to fuck it up but in your first post you said you were doing a bunch of other shit that, if you get caught, will be a major fuck up. Nobody ever thinks they will get caught, jails are full of them. You're an adult now, it's your choice, so I'm not going to tell you to quit or toke on. Like I said, they're your choices and, ultimately, you can only blame yourself for the choices you make. I make my choices and I accept responsibility for those choices, right or wrong. I've been on probation but I never got busted violating it. I hope you don't give them the satisfaction either.
