Government Job... Should One Be Worried?

"Someone I know" is applying for a goverment job (for June) and is worried that the... Smoking he does now will show up on any drug test they administer then. He has only smoked twice before (most noticeably last week) but he wants to smoke perhaps twice a week. Should he be worried? Should he stop now?

He should stop. I'm not sure about other areas, but in my part of the USA, drug testing for government employees is included right with the physical, plus they can do testing while he's employed.

Hmm perhaps I worded my original post wrong, or maybe I am understanding your reply wrong.

He was not planning on smoking once he got his job... But he wanted to know how long before June he should stop so that it would not show up. Now? A month from now? A Month from the test?

Goverment has good drug tests. I say stop now. Why risk a good job like that for a couple puffs? Jeez...people's priorities.

Is he fat? THC can stay in your fat cells for up to 10 weeks. And longer.
Skinny people as low as 2-3 weeks and maybe longer.
Depends on how good the weed is how much he smokes....
