    "quitting" pot

One of my pet peeves is when somebody says they're gonna "quit" doing pot. This usualy agrivates me because marijuana isn't something you quit. i mean, you may come to the decision that you dont wana do it anymore, but that almost never means your not gonna do it again. In my mind, quit is forever. you quit your job, quit stealing money, or quit cheating on your wife. maybe if you need to quit heroin...then you really do need to quit pot, but if you just smoked yourself out, all you really nead is a breather. some time to collect your thoughts, or just a simple cut back (like robert42). getting yourself in too deep is only becuase you couldnt ration out your use for yourself. its all about self control people.

i finished your sentence before i finished reading it. lol, uh? on another note, your totally right, man. when i think of bob marley's song, natural mystic--i know he's talking about marijuana. everyone knows deep inside their heads that they can't put their problems on marijuana, and if you do that just weakens your character. i could understand someone putting off marijuana because they couldn't afford to smoke anymore whether it be financially based or for your health, but permanently quitting is absolutely absurd. marijuana is the earth's knowledge, a point of view if you will. i can't explain it you see. it's mystical. the majestic things in life shall not be questioned, but accepted as truth.

some people can handle it better than others,

but there are people who do need to quit,

some of us are happy drinkers and some of us are violent drinkers.

some of us can have a few lines at the weekend and some of us need to bloodie our noses every day,

some of us can chill on weed and some of us need a straight jacket when we toke.

a good rule for me is...

smoke at night, otherwise your gonna burn yourself out before the night even comes....

i probably smoke a bowl every night just to relax and think deeply about lifes secrets... its incredible how logical it all is to you, and i feel enlightened and happy when i "figure stuff out"..... only to forget it 10 seconds later... but just KNOWING that i figured it out. makes me all the wiser

we should apply our wisdom and ability to know to paper. applying what you learn/know is key to remembering. apply it however suits you best.

I quit YOU, how about them peaches and gravy? MMMM...Peaches and gravy.

Quitting something means you cease to use it, or you give up because you are weak. So, yes, you can literally quit using pot.

If people want to quit, then so be it. I don't care.

I have cut down considerably over the las year or so. It was getting to the point where I would sit down, smoke 6 joints in a row to myself just to get high.

I'm glad I'm not burning though reefer like that anymore!

    Peace

Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
