Its probably best in a pot this time of year. I plan to wait until march(or the last frost) to plant mine. What I do is watch the weather, If its cold i put them in the window, If its warm I'll set them outside until dark. You can grow anytime of year, You just have to keep them warm (60-90*). Typically with seedlings, the warmer the faster the growth. Set up a plot as soon as possible. Dig it about 3 feet deep with a 2 foot diameter. Get some good potting soil and put it in the hole and mix it with the native soil. Organics is the best way if you want a motivational "flying" high. When i grew with chemicals i noticed it to be much more of a stone impairment couchlock high. but its up to you.
