Germinate Or No?

Ok guys I got a question, I orderd 10 Northern Light seeds from Dr. Chronic (great business). My question is though, this is my first grow.. going under a 400 watt HPS system and several CFL bulbs. What do you guys think should I germinate these or just put them straight into soil, whats the difference since I'm confident 90 if not 100% of them will grow.

Also how long do seeds typically last if they are not planted or germinated and kept dry?

I'd say put them in some seedling/cutting soil under the cfls set to 18/6 or 24/0, with decent ventilation so mold doesn't grow.

What I was gonna do is put them all in Jiffy Pots.. and see which ones grow. Then keep the ones that did and put them into bigger pots with more soil, don't no if thats a good plan or not but it will work out if you ask me.

Jiffy pots are good. I have kept northern lights seed for 2 years , it was my first grow.
