Welfare for politicians
Senators Dick Durbin ( soon to be former) and Chris Dodd said yesterday they will push for PUBLIC financing of federal election campaigns.

Let's define exactly what that means: Tax payer would pay for campaign staff,campaign ads,opposition research,lawn signs,bumper stickers, and all the rest.
