Anyone self-medicate with weed?
It helps me..more than a pill. I am unable to smoke right now and xanax is just not for me sooo....be glad when I get back to "normal". It helps with symptons of Menopause and should be available to women for that also. I function better with it..I admit it.

Anyone self-medicate with weed?
i use weed to self-medicate for arthritis/pain from car accident injuries, for nausea/lack of appetite, and for depression -- as well as just enjoying getting high. i prefer smoking a bowl of side-effect-free greenery to gambling on whatever new chemical pharm is being handed out like candy.

Anyone self-medicate with weed?
The wife has poly cystic kidney and lever disease. In short has large assist growing in both her liver and kidneys which has enlarged them. In the end will lose the kidney as they shut down and they will have to slice of a piece of the liver as getting to big for her body to hold. The medication they give her to take is Demerol and Tylenol 3. Both have side effect with said organs. Herb gives relief so can function but without the side effects. Does not take rocket science to figure this out.

Anyone self-medicate with weed?
When I was 3 years old, I was a brat. I pulled out the tent stakes that a playmate was laboriously hammering in. He took the hammer to my head. I have 4 dents in my head and a large backwards "L" shaped scar that my hair hides. Because of this head trauma,I have had migraines and cluster headaches since I can remember. At 19, I finally smoked some pot. My headaches went away. The scar still hurts now and then, but it's nothing compared to what I used to go through. Only when I do not have pot, do the headaches return. Also, I do not mind the side effect of getting high. I have been smoking for just a few months shy of 40 years. I am "California" legal- I have my doctor's recommendation and I grow my legal limit.

Anyone self-medicate with weed?
I use it to help me eat. I suffer from anxiety and a nervous stomach at times and it sure helps. But I smoke it mainly for the buzz. Nothing better than a beer and a few hits after a long day at work.
