Waiting to Inhale examines the current debate over legalizing medical marijuana in the United States. Ten states have passed legislation permitting medical marijuana, but opponents claim that advocates of medical marijuana are simply providing a smokescreen for the complete legalization of marijuana.

This engaging film explores every side of the conflict, taking viewers inside the lives of individuals whose lives have been uniquely affected by terminal illness and drug use. The film sheds new light on this controversial struggle, presenting exclusive access to the first medical studies on smoked cannabis to take place in over thirty years.

A panel discussion featuring medicinal-marijuana activist Grant Krieger will take place immediately following the screening.

    Waiting To Inhale!

I got a chance to pre screen the film last night.
Extremely powerful film. I went through so many emotions while watching it.
Smiling and happy to disgusted and horrified to actually shading tears and i even felt fear during the screening. Just amazing the emotions this film did draw out of me.

I just had to watch it a second time. I will watch it again before we go to the public screening. It is just that powerful of a film!!!

I will write a review with pictures after we attend the February 13 / 2006 screening here in Calgary. The discussion panel will be included in the article as well.

The whole globe should see this film it would open a lot of eyes to the truth about medical cannabis.

    Waiting To Inhale!

Sadly my crappy little Sony digital video camera stopped working right when the discussion panel started up.

At least my wife was able to get some HQ pictures of the discussion panel.

There was a good crowd that asked a lot of interesting questions.
Grant, his lawyer and myself answered the majority of them.

Two others on the panel were pretty quite and for good reason too.

The best part for me was when Grants retired lawyer (Grants calls him a pit bull) came up to me and introduced himself and shook my hand. Then he said you did real well on the discussion panel i was impressed with how you handled yourself. Then he goes to say not to worry it may look small now but in time we will win the fight. This man has been around the Canadian court system his whole life he knows full well what he is talking about.

After the film and discussion panel finished up we hung around and talked to the crowd and i even handed out over 50 TY magazines and lot of business cards.

Then Grant myself and my wife and a friend stopped for a drink and some good conversation. The perfect end to the evening.

A few pictures of the discussion panel...(me in the black suit and tie, Grant Krieger on my left and Grant's lawyer on my right)
