Honesty is one thing. Openess is another.

Women think that if your not open your not honest.

Every single person has something that they will never reveal I dont care who you are.

Im very careful with openness only because I ask myself,

"Does this person really need to know this",
"Can this information be used against me in the future should we break up".
"Will this build intimacy or ruin it"

Men and women both dont always open up with every single detail that has happened in their life. And if you do sometimes it could be determental toward building intamacy instead of enhancing it, which you assume you are doing by being open.

By all means be honest, that builds intimacy, but be very careful about openness, that can ruin it if you reveal the wrong things.

When a girl asks about my past relationships with other women, "I say, They were all good women", and that is all they need to know.

Any more and it is assumed to be comparitive, it also shows that I do not have the ability to keep a secret which could also be a test from the woman asking for the question of openness.

She thinks, "in the future will he talk about me to other women". So this is one good reason why I am not "open" completely with everything.

I dont expect it from her, nor do I ask. I really dont care because I already know that know matter who she is she will not reveal everything in her past.

Somethings are just best left in the past and learned from.

That is my opinion about honesty and openness.
