If you insist on doing something,go to the micrsoft site and get xp recovery disks and do a "fixboot"... You may be able to boot into dos... If you can't find the boot disks I think I have a set ...
Skink Reviewed by Skink on . Blue Screen Of Death! I just bought a few upgrades for my PC. Unfortunately, I can't get it to startup. It runs the Windows XP screen with the green bar, then directly afterwards for a quarter second displays the Blue screen of death with something about my hard drive not working correctly and the code 07000000x0, I think. I read about the BSoD on wikipedia and said it occurs when the drivers perform an illegal action. I'm assuming I need to install the drivers for the mobo or the cpu, but I can't do that without Rating: 5
