It is weird cause I am 21 and I get carded sometimes to get a damn lighter. I dont see what harm someone could do with a lighter. Even if I wasnt 18 who gives a shit if I bought a lighter if I drove myself there. I guess I just look young cause I even get carded at the movies sometimes even though I can buy alcohol.

LOL I know how you feel, trust me. I'm 24 and I get carded for lighters and rolling papers and such sometimes... I mean, I understand this whole "if they look under 28" or whatever, but do I really look 17 people???

I never had problems getting alcohol or cigerettes when I was a minor let alone a lighter. I feel sorry for you minors these day, they ID like shit nowadays.

yeah it seems that around here some places will card you to buy lighters (you have to be 18 in minnesota) I cant wait only 4 more days and i can finally buy my own bic!

At the local 7-11 they won't sell lighters to me. Technically they're not allowed to refuse sale of it though. I'm going to go there one day and just refuse to leave. I'm positive there is no age limitation on buying a lighter.

it is 18 i remember before i was 18 i tired to get one and the had soldit to me i hod got my change. but was taking along ass time to put something in my walet ermmm like my change and then the person said oh i forgot you have to be 18 to buy that and took it off the counter were i had set it while sticking change in wallet thengave me my money back...............................but now i am old enough so its not a rpoblem any more
