no matter how much you like a certain song, no matter how much you listen to this one song--doesn't mean that you shouldn't discover new music. i guess what i'm trying to say here is, by finding new songs you like and bands it further hieghtens your perspective on music and life.

When I want to find new bands I use other methods to see if I like them..then I do this thing called going out and buying the CD.

Use alternative methods, just because OMG soulseek has SMALL TIME bands that are "underground" doesn't mean shit. And Limewire isn't mainstream downloading, it's whatever people have on their computers.

I can find NEARLY any band on Limewire and download it within seconds. There's this thing called LIMEWIRE PRO, 19.95 it cost me that's it, the price of maybe 2..or even 1 CD, and I've downloaded nearly 300,000 songs while I've had this subscription. Sure all you .. OMG I'm too cheap to pay for music people aren't going to find shit or get good downloads because, well, they want you to buy their product. And I can't blame them, it's time for people to stop being so fucking cheap and paying for music. After all, how would you like it if you didn't get paid for you job?

    Thank you.

    So fuck limewire.

    Thank you.

Who said Playing Music was a job?

Producing music is a job, CD pressing is a job, Advertising is a job.

All these are done so you can hear their music, and so they can live and still make music.

I don't blame you, If everybody supported music then every musician would be filthy rich. I only buy CD's when it's above and beyond good listening.

verbal abuse's just an american band lp is in print now on cd, if i recall correctly.

and you can find S.O.A.'s 7" on an lp called Four Old 7"s on a 12" released by Dischord. it's got Teen Idles (ian mackaye and jeff nelson's band before minor threat), S.O.A., Government Issue, and Youth Brigade (the D.C. one, not the L.A. one). highly recommended. also there's one called 5 old 7"s on a CD which also has minor threat's first 7".
