just moved into a new apartment which i will have an entire locked off room dedicated to growing. im still not sure on how i should go about it. Last time
my grow was busted up by the police : ( ....... so i moved but now i have all the space i need. My equipment is a t5 teklight witht he bulbs that burn orange and blue 4 footer then i have 400wmh also purchased emilys garden hydroponic system from harvestmoon grow show if any suggestions possible
for a good room setup let me know......... also i will be growing good kb, regs, also i was sent some seeds in the mail by a special friend i wont say any names but i will be growing ak47xcronic i cant wait...........

I got busted because of the building inspector. He came to the door witht he police and there was paraphenelia everywhere, they asked to see the second exit. that exit was a shity fire escape all rusted to shit so they wanted to see my porch too but little did they know it was my grow room they walked in killed my plants took them and left my chems,dro setup, 400w mh, teklight lol

they didn't arrest you or confiscate you equipment in mass.!!!????? i don't mean to sound rude but who did you pay off or snitch out to escape that one with your freedom?

i just got pulled over this morn in RI and spent the day in jail for less than 1/2 gram! not to mention i had to post bail and now have a court date.

did they have a search warrant?

they came to see a second exit in massachusetts or any state if an officer come in your house and spots something he is allowed to take but if he did not come for that reason you cannot be arrested. there were 2 pigs and one building inspector...... it all works out because im bringing my old landlord to court and i am getting lots of money.:rasta: no payoffs they knew they couldnt do shit

so what you're saying is if a cop came to my house for say, a noise complaint or something similar and while here he smells my grow and finds my grow, he can't arresstt me because that's not what he came for!? i don't know about that. if a cop finds something illegal even if it wasn't what he was originally looking for he has every right to arrest you, unfortunately. they might have to detain you and wait for a warrent though. if you took them through your house to show the exits. they will assume that meens you are allowing them into your house. if you said no you can't come in and he comes in anyway that's a different story. cops find people doing illegal things every day that they didn't specifically come looking for and they still arrest them. case and point, i got pulled over for a bad tail light yesterday, the cop patted me down and found a 1/2gram, guess what i didn't just get a ticket for the light and my pot taken. i got charged with simple possesion(spelling?) i might be missing something but i just don't understand this whole thing. i believe you are telling the truth, you have no reason not to. i have just never heard of a cop finding a grow in the us and not being able to do anything about it except confiscate the plants, and not even the equipment. please don't take this post the wrong way, i'm just very curious. btw, i hope you do get alot of cash from the landlord! stick it to the man!!!!!

actually he's right the law is pretty general kinda like the constitutional right to bare arms while we can bare arms within our homes without a permit once u bring that arm out of ur home it becomes a public issue so say if u shot someon in self defense in your home and the cops came and arrested you it would be for possetion of an illegal firearm and discharging of a firearm without permit as well as several housing code violations as apposed to manslaughter or murder in a spacific degree as long as they broke a law to get into your home and you had no intent to kill anyone and it fell within the guidelines for self defense, same applies to his situation without a warrent to a plain sight search which is as braud as it gets they cant arrest you for anything they find in plain sight but they can confiscate the contraband and use it later on to aquire a warrent against you in which they comen with cuffs then again regional and state laws vary from place to place what could be a neglectable offense in one place could be a maximum priority in another county state or even just a mile down the road..in other words if your gonna do something illegal try not to invite cops over for brunch...
