im relatively new to smoking, and ive looked up how accurate hair tests are. ive seen soruces that say it stays your whole life, and ive seen sources that say about 3 months.

some of my friends are afriad to smoke cuz they say it stays with you for life? any truth in this?

Employers that do hair testing go back only 90 days.
Hair testing is far from being accurate; Blondes and other people with lite-colored hair can pass a hair test sooner than a person with dark hair. Blacks, and certain other ehtnic groups are unfairly profiled because their hair pigmants contain melanin, which can trigger a false-positive for THC.

your hair will test positive for thc if the hair was on your head when you smoked, if you cut your hair bald and stop smoking, it won't show up.
