LEAVES OF SALVIA DIVINORUM

Ok, A few weeks ago i bough about a quarter oz of weed and have pretty much smoked all the bowls. Now its mostly leaves. Anyways i was talking to my friend who i bought it from and he says its salvia leaves. He says it will give you a mellow high if smoked. Anyways what im wondering is would i get any effect from smoking these leaves? And if it is a mild effect should i save a bunch of leaves every time he gives me some and then go on like a salvia trip? I have wanted to try salvia but i heard leaves dont do shit. Any advice?

Your friend gave you a combination of salvia leaves and cannabis? In my experience, smoking non-extract salvia leaves will give you very little effect and are better left for oral consumption. And I'm not sure about other people, but Salvia has never been a mellow drug for me.

yea ive also read that if you have non-extract leaves, oraly is the best way.....I dont think you can swallow them though!! might make you ill....read this...scroll down and there is more about experiances, history etc etc

roll up the leaves all together, like a blunt without paper, then chew them but dont swallow them, depending on how many you have, and so on. good luck

Yes chew them up and dont spit out your spit for a half an hour. You can swallow it, but its better to keep it on the mouth as salvinorn a is better absorbed through the mouth than the stomach. After 1/2 hour the effects should have kicked in so spit out the wad and lay down.

Ok ill try chewing them and holding them in my mouth. I dont know if i could wad them up as they are shredded up. but ill put all of em in my mouth and keep them in there for a while. Thanks for teh info

mild high is the last thing to describe salvia, at least in my case. and ive never heard of putting salvia in pot?

Okay, I think 99% of you are misunderstanding what this person is asking. They have smoked all of the weed, and what's left are the leaves.

Now, those left over leaves, are not salvia, they are cannabis leaves. Salvia and Cannabis are on 2 completly different levels. Those left over leaves, are the small leaf matter that falls off of the buds. Not salvia. Your friend is an idiot.

your friend probably ment sativa leaves,some decent bud usually.....salvia is a totally different type of plant so they wouldn't be mixed together most likely

Yah when he said thats salvia i was like woah ive been wanting to try that. I think the guy who he got it from either told him that or said salvia and meant sativa.

Cause it has been puzzling me why one would mix salvia leaves with cannabis bowls.
