Marijuana and breast cancer.
So, in class today, my teacher was ranting about the harmful effects of marijuana. SOoo I told him what I knew, which is quite a bit. Then he threw me this "marijuana is a fat-soluable drug and since breasts are the fattiest place on the body both male and female marijuana is a contributing factor to breast cancer." now i looked and looked and looked for any evidence of a study on this, and found nothing. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this study, or knows where i can find information about it, because personally, im thinkin its a load of shit. thankies.

Your teacher is just using logic, which would make sence if THC caused cancer. However, since the chemical delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) does NOT in fact cause cancer, his theory is incorrect.
Note: THC is a fat soluble chemical and Marijuana is a plant containing THC just to clear that up.

Ranting about the harmful effects of cannabis? argue back with the harmful effects cannabis laws have on society.

This space is filled with darkness
The obvious was here
With nothing to believe in
The compass always points

Klae, you need to go over to http://www.hempworld.com/HempPharm/a...te_cancer.html Although it mentions prostate cancer in the address, there are several articles there about cannabis' ANTI-cancer properties. Please print up a few and give them to the teacher or use them as a basis for your next report.
I'm mmj user who is also a tutor/ teacher's aide and I hate ignorance and disinformational teaching! Go for it, Klae!

Marijuana and breast cancer.
PS. The "THC shown to Erradicate Tumors" article mentions breast cancer as one of the types of tumors inhibited by cannabis!
