Anyone here ever experience "dry socket"?
hey,
Now, I know you're all thinking that "dry socket" is like dry mouth or something, but it isn't! I mean from getting your wisdom tooth/teeth pulled and the bloodclot doesn't fully clot.
I experienced the worst kind of pain last week, but mostly on Sunday. I had a wisdom tooth removed, and the clot stayed, but there was a little pocket of air behind my main molar, right in front of where the wisdom tooth was pulled. Air was getting in and my nerves had been going of like static, killing my mouth.
So I was wondering if anyone else had the pleasure of this pain?I have had my cheek bone smashed in before (literally) and this pain I felt from my tooth, was like, a 100x worse than getting beat down. PURE PAIN!!
If anyone out there is getting some teeth pulled, if you're going to smoke weed, use a pipe that is as easy as breathing in air. DO NOT rinse your mouth out for 24hrs. I had completly forgot about that one, my blood clot didn't fully clot, and...the pain....

hey man
yeah i read the story of you getting mugged earlier
sry for that
I'm currently in a crazy one-on-one with my upper right wisdom tooth too.
But that's apparently nothing compared to your shitcrazy pain man.
You can make your blood clot faster by taking something of which i forgot the english translation... You were born in holland right? It's called bloedplaatjes in dutch.
all the best man, get wastedease the pain!

Anyone here ever experience "dry socket"?
I've had them all out!! Went to a "Teaching Hospital" and some tiny chinese girl was trying for the life of her to wrench them out!! she didn't have enough strenght!!lol Didn't hurt though coz of the injection before but I could still feel her yanking away and apologizing in her funny accent!!
A week later i had the other side removed and they didn't use enough anesthetic!! and as he started to yank I nearly jumped out of the window....Took three shots in the end!

I can actually smoke buds without getting a throbbing pain in my mouth.
I was curious if anyone here has blown the entire clot before. Mine was about, 15% missing, and that brought me to tears a few days ago, so I couldn't imagine a full blown clot.
There is no pain like mouth pain, and after years of my folks saying, "take care of your teeth", and about 8 fillings later, I have finally leanred my lesson. It isn't something someone can understand the pain of until you feel it yourself.
No worries about the beatdown  Happened about 6yrs ago now and my nerves in my face are finally coming back to normal now. Just a little guy too! Made me change the way I think about shorter people
Peace

Don't worry about your teeth yanked. If you're getting surgery done where it requires stitches, it won't be so bad. Like me though, the tooth was grown in but heavily decayed, so it was just an extraction, but that leaves you withh a dime sized hole in your mouth.
You'll be fine, get blazed before surgery and you'll be good  I know I did
