Can a doctor tell the cops

i used to work in the medical records department of a hospital. its illegal for the doctor to disclose any information to anyone without your written consent. unless your a minor, then he can tell your guardians.

and no, an officer cant arrest you for being drunk or high. thats why when your at a party, just throw your drink straight down if u hear the cops are coming, then technically they cant arrest you unless your in possession of it or your drinking it.

but ive been to alot of parties that have been busted, and cops usually dont follow this, and i doubt that it would stand up in court.

Im pretty sure its LEGAL for your parents to give you alcohol. Well if they were getting you smashed everynight CPS might have a problem with that , but other than that its legal. Im pretty sure your parents can also order alcoholic drinks for you in restruants and you can legally drink them.

Bullshit. I'm currently on week 4 of house arrest because I was stopped by the police while walking on the sidewalk down a semi-main street, stumbling a little bit but not shit faced drunk, because someone drove by and reported me for stumbling around. I wasn't holding, or drinking or smoking at the time, I was just drunk, and they took me in.

I fuckin' hate it, the cops here I'm pretty sure are some of the biggest assholes in the whole country...the whole court system in general here is fucked...trust me I have stories.

I only know the Oregon laws, so here is a summary:
You can be nailed with intoxication laws for driving under the influence of any illicit drug (they require a piss test if they have reason to suspect it). But, if you are walking down the street blazed cops can't do shit unless you're a threat to the general welfare. Alcohol is the only drug you can get in trouble with after consumption. A parent can give only thier kids alcohol in thier own house, if that kid leaves the house he could be hit with a Minor in Posession by Consumption and his parents would have to foot the bills of any damage.
