Success with Lemon Skunk??
Hey there, just checkin to see if anyone else has experimented with the Lemon Skunk strain available. I have gone through several batches of herb now and never had such a hard time with seedlings like I'm having now. I'm a science guy and as such, I tend to keep decent records and notes, but with almost everything the same I can barely keep these things alive.
It seems that they are overwatered, but as they dry out they dont look much better. I am using a moisture meter, waited until the 1-10 scale read 5 at the rootzone and then added just the tiniest amount of water. This got the moisture level to around 9 most of the way through the soil, except at the very bottom of the pots. The leaves are drooping downward, most have spots of the leaves that start out as green and soft and then turn brown. The other leaves are not as dark as I would think they should be, and the rate of growth seems to be incredibly slow.
I've went through numerous other harvests and never had this kind of trouble in the beginning. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Is this a strain that dislikes wet ground?? I'm currently using 1/2 gallon pots, distilled water, no nutrients in the water, I have added greensand, kelp meal, and worm castings to the mix, it's about 1/2 peat, 1/2 perilite, and about 10-20% of the above amendments combined. I'm not sure as the exact amount of water I have used, but it's only about 1 gallon in the last 9 days for seven plants. I even went without watering them at all for about 3 days with no real change in the status. Please help!!!!Sp00ner Reviewed by Sp00ner on . Success with Lemon Skunk??
