First off, a sense of humor is critical. I love a girl with a sense of humor.
And as for your post, apparently I should explain. Standards are just a good place to start. "who knows where it's been?" you asked. Well, you should. Because you should have standards. Does that mean protection shouldn't be used? of course not. but instead of relying on a thin layer of latex to shield me from disease, I also incorporate, that's right, standards.

In summation, I'm glad you love yourself. Because even with all the protection in the world, I never would (physically speaking)...

Protection is like the last line of defense for STDs (STI's for you hipsters), standards are like evasive manuvers.
