Just wondering if any 1 on this site has had the chance to hear some english rap a.k.a grime, if not let me be the one to educate you,for the last 3 years in london mainly, there has been a new form of music nicknamed grime coming up the ranks,and let me tell you its going to be big. as most of you are from the u.s and it might be difficult for you to get hold of this music i included a track for you please let me no wat you think as im tryin to get the word out there.any comments are welcome positive or negative:thumbsup: thanx:rasta:

That shit's okay, but i prefer the end of UK hip hop that can rap well, have good lyrics, etc...not just this "i'm a G, shootin niggaz wiv my piece, fucking bitchez on the streets" etc blah blah

I'm more into acts such as, Taskforce, Skinnyman, Roots Manuva, Black Twang, Mongo, etc...

i'll have some mos def, akrobatik, asheru, tribe called quest, common is pretty good, ATLiens from outkast rocked, krs one, de la soul, jurassic 5, but also a bit of gangster, songs i like, Gangstarr, Funkmaster Flex' Carshow, bit of dre, snoop, but just cuz the songs sound good

english rap isnt grime, there are english rappers who would not want to be known as 'grime' just uk hip hop
but yeh i listen to both, rodney p, klashnekoff,skinny,lowkey,doc brown,lewis parker,roots manuva,roll deep,wiley the list can go on and on :thumbsup:
