    Cease The Usage

I gave up alcohol, LSD and cocaine years ago and started smoking MJ. Some say I may have replaced 2 addictions with the one, but I can tell you, without the entertaining value that MJ has, I would still be sucking back brews and nasal snorting my way to the bottom.

Cannabis has never made me feel bad, sad, or angry. Alcohol turned me into an asshole, LSD turned me into a physcopath, and cocaine got me arrested I hated that shit. I have never once felt that way about cannabis and after 4yrs of smoking it, I still love it, everytime I do smoke it. After 9months of hard drug abuse I wanted to kill myself everyday for a good year.

Thanks goodness for Mary Jane.

But if this is what will make life more smooth for you, then more power to ya!

Thanks to all the people who understand the maturity of my decision and understand that it is a personal decision TO MAKE MY life better. It has nothing to do with the effects of MJ, nor does it have anything to do with the many years of happy smoking I have had. It has to do with the goals I wish to set for myself, and the goals I want to achieve but I PERSONALLY have not been able to achieve through MJ. This is not a decision to quit MJ personally, but at this point in my life, I no longer have the desire to use it.

For I am happier than ever!

I never knew the happiest day would be the day I quit smoking weed.

So after nearly 9 years of smoking...it's time to say goodbye. It's a bittersweet moment, I have already gotten rid of my paraphenalia, the last of my roaches...and it's officially over.

    Cheers to the memories.

I find threads like this odd. Having your own reasons for quitting is great but I'm just not sure why you'd come here reaching.

Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

For the rest of your life, I hope you can feel your neglected cannabinoid receptors.

I am very astonished that you said that. Why? Because you are making out that weed is addictive and that you should stop it.
