That's why this thread is really odd because I'm not sure what kind of response you were expecting to find. Probably not validation from a forum of teenage stoners. I think you're going to have to take the good with the not so good and be content with it. That's part of what making life changing decisions is all about. Just no ONDCP propaganda, k? haha No Propaganda. I'm still the same person with the same beliefs, I just don't smoke it anymore. I don't know why I posted this I honestly wasn't expecting any kind of response, just thought I'd let people know.

okay, STDz, i respect your decision and all, and it's very nobel to go without it, because you're right, no one truly needs it... all the time... eventually, you might need it second handedly, as in you dont NEED it, but without it you might face worse problems.

this is completely speculation, and on the spiritual side of things. physically, it's great for many things, but it is not oxygen.

spiritually...... well... it helps greatly, but still isnt nessacary.


all in all, however, it is a plant of honnor, it is the only thing you truly need in your life in order to survive. you wouldnt need meat if you had cannabis.

your own decision to quit also hits me deep in the center of my being, deep where my hatred seeds out toward the government.

these are times when we all really need to stand up and light a bowl in the face of defeat, in the face of jail, this is the time to blow our smoke in the faces of the government, and then protect our freedom to do so...

these are times to die on our feet rather than live on our fucking knees!


so... while i agree with your stopping smoking, i dont agree with the ceace of use.

even if it were legal, i'd be against it, because it is a food that i feel is more important to humanity than any other edible that exists, save water.

Thanks for the kind words SSW. I do think my words are misconstrued though. Why although I am not quitting, I am ceasing to use marijuana in it's form of recreational use. That is all I am really trying to say. I am not trying to deny it's uses, and it's many positive aspects. Nor am I doing this due to any government propaganda. This is a decision I have been struggling with for the past few months, confusion. I feel my life, PERSONALLY MY LIFE, not anybody else, just my own life, will be more productive and better without marijuana at the current moment. I am not denying that someday I will restart, because it is my first love. I have known nothing more greater than marijuana, I do not view it as a drug, I view it as a gateway to something else.

Just in this point of time I don't need it to be happy, or give me the feeling of happiness or exuberance. You do pose some very good points and thanks for taking the time to express them SSW. May happy tokes be with you.
