yes you can, i've done it, works well.

a gravity bong isn't a real bong and doesn't filter or cool the smoke but it can still be used. also the smoke will be stale by the time it hits your lungs making you cough more which is good for mj but not salvia.

ONe time i was smoking gravity bongs in my room, and i was hitting bowls of weed, with oil dripped onto it. I got realllly fucking stoned, and then i got out the salvia extract i had, and loaded a large bowl. I dripped oil onto the bowl of salvia as well.. Holy mother of god, it was a trip and a half! I was connected to everything i looked at, and i ad 4 arms, that i actually felt attached to me.
