    New strains?

Hi Tasha. From what I read on here, most folks are enduring that age old strain called "Slim-n-none". I'd love to be a screen in your pipe from what I am imagining you are smoking.

I do have one friend who is always bragging about his newest exotic strain, but thus far it curiously isn't available when I am around. So I wonder if he's just "blowing smoke" up my wazzoo.

I'd love to hear what you're lucky enough to get to enjoy.

    Have a great Sunday evening.
    Onward!

    Howdy Tasha,

Well..I knew that there's an abundance of hydro around the Lewisville area, but I ain't sure of the rest of the metroplex. So these fellers actually know what strains they have ? Because in my area, most of the tokers don't know what it is that they are toking, and the dealers don't know what they're selling..lol. I think it's a sure sign that more folks are growing actual strains with proven genetics.

I'm wondering, what kind of prices are you running into,ie,priced by the gram or by standard measure ? What are some of the strains yer running into and can you tell if they've been properly flushed of nutes ?

Sorry to hit ya with all of these questions..I'm just curious about the current state of growing over there. I used to have some friends over there, back in the '70's and I was mightily impressed and never forgot, the day the dealer came over, and he had a briefcase, with about 8 different kinds of smoke, all primo and more expensive than most of us could afford, even back then.

    Have a good one !:stoned:

    New strains?

All the dealers here usually know their stuff. I've never run into a problem with ignorant sellers.
aui and Hawaiian. I've noticed some sort of Seattle strain poppinig up alot. Indonesian is also rampant. It's usually hard to come by specialty stuff outside of Dallas. Mostly mexican. Although, I've found that alot of it can be super potent.

An Oz runs for about 50 around these parts. Although the prices get hightened when it's dro or specialty strains. Usually independant prices are figured for each person. Usually friends of the "right people" get it for cheaper. It's really based on personal relationships around these parts. I'm friends with all of my herbal brokers.

    ...or so i hear...

Here's a more extensive list of strains that I can remember. I was going to edit my post..but time expired.

White Rhino, Kali Mist, Afgahni, Hawaii Skunk, Northern Lights, and Pineapple Punch.

The easiest ever will always be mexican though. C'mon this is Texas.

    Howdy Tasha,

Wowser ! Those are some good strains ! :stoned: I'm impressed and happy too !

It sure would be cool to have just one friend, who could keep up with my knowledge of weed..much less a dealer. I start talking about the technical details of weed genetics and growing, and everyone's faces go blank and their eyes glaze over--too much data ! lol But then,if I git the right stone,I tend to do the same with other subjects, like computers, electronics and science subjects in general..and when I do--everyone knows that I got stoned ! :stoned: lol However,I have learned to hold back for the most part, because I've found most folks just want to enjoy their buzz..without having to use their brains...lol.

    Have a good one !

I completely understand the frustration. I get that way too, sometimes. I'm quite the listener when I'm stoned..so we may be quite the pair. You could talk my ear off all day! There's nothing better than having strain discussions WHILE baked.

Feel free to get in touch with me on msn or aim. I'll add my msn addy on here soon!
